Sara feels deeply connected to the area she grew up in and considers herself fortunate to have built a life in West Wales. The natural beauty surrounding her, nestled between the foot of the Preseli Hills and the rugged West Wales coastline, serves as a constant source of inspiration for her artwork.
She works primarily with reclaimed purple Welsh slate, using the unique shape and texture of each piece as a canvas. No two slates are the same, allowing every artwork to take on its own distinct character, shaped both by the land and by her vision.
